Welcome to Orca Coin
Orca Coin (ORCA) is a decentralised, community-driven Proof of Stake blockchain. Create a wallet, stake your coins, participate in block validation, and explore every transaction on the network — all from your browser.
What is Orca Coin?
Orca Coin is an open, permissionless Proof of Stake (PoS) blockchain. Unlike traditional Proof of Work blockchains that rely on energy-intensive mining, Orca Coin validators are selected based on the amount of ORCA they have staked — making participation efficient, fair, and environmentally friendly.
Non-Custodial Wallets
Your wallet, your keys. Orca Coin wallets are generated client-side using a cryptographic seed phrase. Nobody else holds your private key — you have full ownership and control of your funds at all times.
Proof of Stake Consensus
Block validators on Orca Coin are chosen proportionally to the amount of ORCA they have staked. This means earning block rewards requires staking — not expensive hardware or electricity.
Transparent Ledger
Every block, transaction, and wallet balance on the Orca Coin network is publicly visible on this blockchain explorer. Search any block height, transaction hash, or wallet address above.
Earn Block Rewards
Validators who successfully forge a block receive an ORCA block reward directly to their wallet. The more you stake, the higher your probability of being selected as the next block validator.
Quick Start Guide
New to Orca Coin? Follow these steps to get started on the network in minutes.
Create Your Wallet
Visit the Create Wallet page to generate a brand-new Orca Coin wallet. You will receive a unique 12-word seed phrase — write it down and store it safely offline. This phrase is the only way to recover your wallet if you lose access. Never share it with anyone.
Access Your Wallet
Once you have a wallet address, use the Access Wallet page to log in using your private key or seed phrase. Your wallet dashboard will show your current ORCA balance, staked amount, and transaction history.
Receive ORCA Coins
Share your public wallet address with others to receive ORCA. Your wallet address is safe to share — it begins with 0x and is 42 characters long. You can also find it displayed in your wallet dashboard.
Stake Your ORCA to Earn Rewards
From your wallet dashboard, stake your ORCA coins to participate in network consensus. Staked funds are locked while active but earn you block rewards. You can unstake at any time to regain full control of your coins. The minimum stake amount to become eligible as a validator is determined by the network settings.
Explore the Blockchain
Use the search bar above to look up any block, transaction, or wallet address on the Orca Coin network. You can track transfers, monitor validator activity, and verify that your transactions have been confirmed on-chain.
Send ORCA to Others
From your wallet dashboard, you can send ORCA to any other wallet address on the network. Enter the recipient's address, the amount, and confirm the transfer. Transactions are broadcast to the network and confirmed in the next forged block.

About Orca Coin
Orca Coin (ORCA) is a fully self-hosted, open-source Proof of Stake blockchain platform. It was built to demonstrate how modern PoS consensus mechanisms work — enabling developers, researchers, and enthusiasts to run their own blockchain network with real cryptographic security.
The network operates on a slot-based forging schedule. Every block interval, one validator is probabilistically selected to forge the next block based on their proportional stake in the network. The selected validator signs the block with their private key and broadcasts it to the chain. Validators earn a block reward in ORCA for each block they successfully forge.
All wallet operations — creation, staking, sending, and receiving — happen through a secure, non-custodial interface. The Orca Coin blockchain explorer on this page allows anyone to audit the chain in full transparency, verifying every transaction and block since genesis.
Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Orca Coin and how to use the network.
Is Orca Coin free to use?
Yes. Creating a wallet and viewing the blockchain explorer is completely free. Sending transactions incurs a small network fee paid in ORCA, which is used to reward validators who process your transaction.
How do I get ORCA coins?
ORCA is distributed through block rewards to validators who stake coins and forge blocks. You can also receive ORCA from other users by sharing your wallet address. Genesis wallets are allocated coins at chain initialisation.
What is staking?
Staking means locking a portion of your ORCA balance to participate in the network's consensus process. Staked validators are eligible to be selected to forge new blocks and earn rewards. You can unstake your coins at any time through your wallet dashboard.
Is my private key safe?
Your private key and seed phrase are generated entirely in your browser and are never sent to any server. You are fully responsible for keeping your seed phrase secure. If you lose it, your wallet cannot be recovered — there is no password reset or account recovery.
How do I search the blockchain?
Use the search bar at the top of this page. You can search by block height (a number), transaction hash (0x followed by 64 hexadecimal characters), or wallet address (0x followed by 40 hexadecimal characters).
What is a validator?
A validator is a network participant who has staked ORCA and registered to participate in block forging. Validators are randomly selected (weighted by stake) to create new blocks. In return they receive ORCA block rewards.
